Crèche (Nativity Manger)

Good friends of ours have had a crèche for their mantel for many years. When their daughter got her own house, she wanted one of her own and asked me to create one for her based on the one she grew up with. The design is my own take on her parent's crèche, which you can see in the last picture. 

This crèche has details like an inside light, a cute hay loft, barnwood-like boards around the outside, and real cedar, hand-made, shingles.
