Blanket Chest

This blanket chest is the first piece of real "furniture" that I made.

This chest is 40" x 22" and is 23" tall, made of furniture grade Baltic Birch plywood and finished with a cherry stain. The hinges on the lid are tensioned to allow the lid to close slowly (a nice safety feature).
